Monday Morning Ride View
Part 1 of the same was around the details of Saturday& Sunday; though, as mentioned the Holiday continued till Tuesday, considering Monday & Tuesday were holidays!!!! The excitement of ending Sunday night without Monday being a working day is absolutely one of the greatest feelings in the world… As always Monday morning started off with a bike ride across Nariman Point, Walkeshwar & Breach Candy. The excitement of the ride coupled with the excitement of Monday being a holiday, & to top it off, we were going to watch The Avengers (we covered that in yesterday’s post) was totally insane!!!

The next cool thing was going to watch Avengers on our own Bajaj Avenger….this was so awesome! Again, this is the moment to mnention the greatness of the movie and how awesomely awesome it is and all should watch it (specially if you own a Bajaj Avenger somehow the experience multiplies exponentially). Post the movie, we went down to Walkeshwar to Dakshinayan which is this small joint which serves some great South Indian food. Their Dosas, different kinds of idli-wadas, punniyaram, bisibele rice & filter coffee are to die for. Another thing I forgot to mention was that the gang was going to meet up for in the evening for a food & alco party; please to note, our friend Ritika was also going to be gracing us with her presence – she also loves food & alco as much as us 🙂 The menu for the evening was Pizza pot pies, home brewed beer, whiskey, Southern Comfort & the hulk themed soft centred baked cheesecake. Afternoon was spent preparing for the party; most of the same was done by the lovely Mrs while most of us had passed out. Sidhivinayak Temple
Tuesday started with a bike ride – a trip past Sidhivinayak (as always) which is a Ganpati temple & has a huge following; also as it was Tuesday which is Ganpati day; there are crowds lining up from 12:00am onwards! Devotees walk from across the city and outstation to the temple, it’s a pretty big deal and all who visit the temple believe that their prayers get answered. Post Prabhadevi, I moved to Shivaji Park where in there was crazy security; at that moment, I realised it was Maharashtra Day & Labour Day and thus there were celebrations and security measures. I went past Reclamation where in there were Royal Enfield Riders assembling for a Rally. Post Reclamation, rode all the way back to Nariman Point and then home. After a well deserved shower and cold coffee with bailey’s irish cream, I crashed in bed as the plan for the day was to laze & do nothing… Starting from 11:00 am in the morning to 11:00 pm in the night. Rachita and me watched episodes of Supernatural season 1 & 2 only had a few breaks for lunch & dinner. All in all, an awesome extended weekend!!!
